CCT Constructors Corporation (CCT) formally turned over the completed design-and-build Dairy Plant Building for CDO Foodsphere, Inc. (CDO) on September 30, 2026, marking an important
milestone in the companies’ partnership and laying the groundwork for continued collaboration.
Located in Malvar, Batangas, the CDO Dairy Plant was constructed from July 2025 to
September 2026. The project involved the complete design and build of the facility, which will support CDO Foodsphere’s dairy manufacturing operations.
The turnover ceremony brought together key representatives from CDO Foodsphere and CCT Constructors Corporation to mark the project’s formal completion and handover. Among those present were CDO President and CEO Jerome Ong, CDO VP for GP Manufacturing Rene Hernandez, CDO AVP for Engineering and Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Renato
Guinto, CCT President Kaname Futaki, and CCT Vice President Alain Salvador, who witnessed
the formal turnover of the keys and project documents.
In his remarks, CCT President Kaname Futaki thanked the client for their trust and confidence in CCT as its construction partner. “This project is special to us as it’s our first time building a plant for [CDO] Foodsphere…[T]hrough teamwork and dedication, we successfully completed this
facility with no accidents,” he said.
CCT Project Manager Chris Sentillas also recognized the engineers, supervisors, and workers who contributed to the project during his speech. He highlighted that the construction reached a peak workforce of 334 workers and recorded 717,796 total man-hours without a lost-time
accident, demonstrating the collective effort, commitment, and strong safety culture behind the facility’s completion.
CDO President and CEO Jerome Ong likewise reflected on CDO’s decision in choosing CCT.
“When we selected CCT, our decision was not simply based on cost. [W]e searched for a partner who we could trust to deliver quality and to guide us throughout this project,” he said.
He also expressed appreciation for CCT’s close involvement throughout construction. “[Through this project], we saw why CCT has built such a strong reputation over the past 50 years in the Philippines,” he added.
Standing as a new milestone, the completed plant signifies an important step in strengthening
CDO’s dairy manufacturing operations and production capabilities.
With the facility now formally handed over, CCT looks forward to seeing the completed plant move into operation and building a stronger relationship in the years ahead.
